Continental electricals is our SAP B1 client which is running SAP B1 successfully at its Workhouses. Continental electricals has "Tally" preveously for its accounting purpose and somehow doing its "only" accounting part on the systems. An organization like continental must need something much bigger than Tally which truly support its smooth functioning. This is what we thought when we come to know about Continental and there was the initiation of the Project Continental , where we are going to give them the power of SAP , The global leader in ERP . The transfer of overall functioning of the company on the SAP B1 from the legacy system was really a difficult task and for us as it was the first project of SAP B1 we are also much enthusiastic about it. Well as in all ERP implementation projects to over come the human resistance and unorganised data storing was the biggest challange.
Here we started work with our consultant team and started the Kik-off meets with the concern persons of the organization.After analysing the whole process of working at continental we started to map the SAP b1 facilities and requirements of the organization as we call it GAP FIT analysis.Once over with the analysis phase we got clear picture of what we have to do and now the question was how and when.
In a meet we decided that we will deploy our one consultant to client side for some duration of time for the purpose of better implementation. In between the process we also have to face the lack of good human resource particularly in our region and then we arrange some more good human resource to fuell the pace of project and with our integrated effort we easily overcome all the problems we were facing in the proper implementation of Our first ERP project.
Presently Continental electricals Pvt. Ltd. is successfully running its SAP B1 in its organization and is fully go live to SAP support.
